More than enough space for our family of 5, with breakfast on the veranda, overlooking the vineyard below. Peaceful and spacey, well maintained. After all the information and what to see we got a bottle of macedonian wine as a gift – it was a sweet evening, hvala 🙂
We are a family with two small kids and had a fantastic time at Vila Popovski. Tony, the host, gave us a very warm welcome and was very attentive to all questions we had during our stay. The house is very well equipped and has big terrace with a nice view of lake Ohrid. The big, lush garden is wonderful and was the perfect playground for our kids. The house is located very close to the best sandy and shallow beaches of lake Ohrid. We highly recommend Vila Popovski!

Really nice fireplace, and the host was very flexible. Also his English was surprisingly good.
We stayed here and enjoyed it immensely. The owners, Mirko and Bojan, have found that rare and delicate balance between discretion and warmth. The house is pretty and very comfortable with everything that you could need. The surrounding mountains are incredibly wild and beautiful, all in all, a great place to stay.

De gastheer (redelijk in het Engels) en gastvrouw (bijna geen Engels, maar met handen en voeten ging het prima) waren erg vriendelijk. Fantastisch uitzicht, rustige locatie. Erg schoon, wat we zeer waardeerden.

The villa was quipped with just about every thing you might need. Jasminka the host even lent us her swim fins.
De ligging even buiten Ohrid en direct aan het meer. De rust en het uitzicht waren precies waar wij aan toe waren. Ook de verzorging van moeder Natasja en dochters Sofija en Ana was warm en persoonlijk.
It is a magic place, we enjoyed it so much that we can never go to another place in Ohrid. You have everything you need, including your own private beach. Wonderful hosts, lovelly house and the best location.

De eigenaar is een zeer vriendelijke man! De locatie is ook zeer goed, op wandelafstand van de oude stad en midden in de nieuwe stad. Parkeren is ook perfect mogelijk.
De eigenaar was erg gastvriendelijk. Elke dag werd de kamer schoongemaakt en lagen er nieuwe handdoeken. De bedden in de kamer waren erg goed.

The house was clean, but positioning is desirable. The villa is located in the courtyard of an old house, not seen from the street, surrounded by other old houses inhabited, the windows are blocked and never see the sky.
Više od očekivanog! Odseli smo sa kumovina i našom decom da bi napravili pauzu na putu za Grčku. Veliki TV, mnoštvo kanala i internet zabavili su decu. Ogromna ogroman dnevni boravak! Očekivali smo samo sobu da prespavamo, ovo je praktično cela kuća na raspolaganju! Prezadovoljni!
You get an entire villa, fully equipped. The villa is new and beautiful. The hosts are nice and helpful. The location is excellent. If you are up to WW1 history, it is right below the “Devil’s eye” and a half-day trek through the mountains to it.
